Here are five low-calorie summer cocktails that contain superfoods:
 
1. Blueberry Basil Sparkler

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2-3 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey (or a natural sweetener)
  • 1 ounce vodka (optional)
  • Club soda
  • Ice cubes

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Muddle the blueberries and basil leaves in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add the lemon juice, honey, and vodka (if using).
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.
  4. Strain into a glass filled with ice.
  5. Top with club soda and garnish with a few extra blueberries and a basil leaf.
